Fact or Myth: You Must Have Product In Hand to Start Building Your Brand.

Fact or Myth: You must have your final product in hand before you start building your brand.⁣

Last chance to guess....⁣

MYTH.⁣

It’s actually more beneficial to begin building your brand before you have the final product in your hand. Once your samples are finalized, you can start building an e-mail list, social media following, & even begin presales.⁣

Our recommended launch process goes as follows:⁣

1. Finalize Samples⁣

Having your samples finalized at least allows you to know what you’ll be selling, and come up with a strategic plan to tease product that will attract your target audience.

2. Finalize Brand Strategy, Messaging, & Design⁣

Here lies the foundation of your new brand. Starting with strategy and messaging, informed by the product you plan to sell, will allow you to build a well-rounded brand, with a strategy for success.

3. Start Building Social Media & E-mail List⁣

Starting to build an audience as soon as possible is important so that you have a solid base of customers to launch your product to.

4. Launch a Presale⁣

Don’t want to invest a ton of money in product up front, or risk having product go to waste? A pre-sale is a great way to gauge interest in your product, while having the customers pay for your first order up front.

5. Place Your Final Production Run Order⁣

Once you’ve built a strategic foundation to launch from, built an audience to launch to, gauged interest in your brand, and maybe even sold out your pre-orders - it’s time to place your first full product run!
